“Our goal is to bring together prospective startups, grown-up technology companies, investors, business consultants and other talented innovators, who would help each other grow internationally. As there are no vacant work space and the waiting list is growing, we have decided to offer a virtual membership opportunity that will make it possible to use the park’s advantages without a physical workplace”, Darius Žakaitis, Executive Director of Vilnius Tech Park, explains the reasons behind the program.

Virtual members approved during the selection process will be able to use the work area located in Vilnius Tech Park, directly communicate with the companies operating in the park, participate in weekly events, trainings. Representatives of both startups and corporations can apply for the program.

Furthermore, startups will be able to use additional services by the park’s partners under exceptional conditions. At present, the program is attended by law firm Cobalt, accounting firm Integre, accelerator StartupHighway and Devs.lt, software developer search platform creators.

The new program is also useful for foreign startups who want to launch their products or services in Lithuania. “One of the benefits of virtual membership is the availability of an official park address and postal service management service. Foreign companies can therefore use this address to register their activities in Lithuania. This will be appreciated by the startups of the neighbouring countries, especially Belarus, Russia, Ukraine who are seeking to develop their business not only in Lithuania, but also in the territory of the European Union”, emphasizes D. Žakaitis.

According to him, currently there is a pilot virtual membership program. In the near future, the spectrum of opportunities is planned to be expanded according to the needs of members.

Vilnius Tech Park unites more than 60 organizations, including startups of various levels, technology companies, accelerators, venture capital funds. Vilnius Tech Park complex includes not only work space, but also a bistro, bar and conference center. Members can use exclusive park partner offers for business services as well as an international network.
