CONVENE is a hosted buyer led event which showcases the Baltic Sea region and gathers the meetings industry professionals under one roof. This event once again testifies to the reputation of Vilnius as a flagship city in conference industry.
This year, CONVENE 2018 played host to 165+ pre-qualified international hosted buyers, who represent international corporations, associations, science, research and event organising agencies. The CONVENE helps local businesses to open their doors to a huge potential international marketplace, facilitate the development and expansion of the conference segment and attract new customers. The exhibition will include professional B2B meetings, educational programmes, which will invite people to listen to world-class experts and their success stories, see the latest trends, challenges and innovations in the event industry.
Nearly 3.500 bilateral meetings have been scheduled among the participants. They, according to Beniulienė, will result in the next two to four years, in at least 40 events in Vilnius and Lithuania generating sustainable income and making a significant contribution to the country’s economic growth.
