Changes in vaccination in Vilnius: vaccination will be available in all healthcare institutions
As of October, everyone wishing to get vaccinated can do this in Litexpo vaccination centre which will be open at least until winter, pharmacies which carry out vaccination (the list is available here https://vakcina.vilnius.lt) and personal healthcare institutions.
Residents wishing to be vaccinated with the first, second or third booster vaccine can do this at Litexpo after registration at https://vakcina.myhybridlab.com/selfregister/vaccine 1808. Today you can still get vaccinated at Litexpo without registration, you just need to have a valid identity document.
The residents will also be vaccinated in healthcare institutions, i.e. clinics in which they are registered. Private personal healthcare institutions also actively get engaged in the vaccination process; thus, the residents can get vaccinated in the institutions regularly visited by them. As for vaccination in personal healthcare institutions, you should apply directly to your medical institution.
In case of any problems in relation to vaccination process in personal healthcare institutions, you can apply by e-mail vakcina@vilnius.lt. The residents wishing to get vaccinated in their medical institution can inform of this by calling to the medical institution in which they are registered.
Before all primary personal healthcare institutions enable patients to get vaccinated, one can always use the vaccination service in Litexpo premises.
Please note that currently vaccination of the groups of society approved by the Minister of Social Security including employees of the healthcare system, care institutions and social security system, persons over 65 years of age with the third booster vaccine dose is carried out. The residents of Vilnius who can get vaccinated with the third vaccine dose must register for vaccination by themselves. Please note that you can register on the Internet at https://vakcina.myhybridlab.com/selfregister/vaccine or by telephone 1808.
The patients who receive supportive care and nursing services, residents of social care institutions (who cannot be brought to the vaccination centre) will be vaccinated with the third vaccine dose in the institution where practicable. Older people and other residents of Vilnius with mobility or other severe disabilities can be vaccinated at home. They or their relatives should address the patient’s personal healthcare institution.
Please note that persons will be vaccinated with the booster COVID-19 vaccine dose not earlier than 180 days from the date of injection of the second COVID-19 vaccine dose. For more detailed information on all society groups which can be vaccinated with the third vaccine dose, see here:
