Vilnius Christmas Town is getting ready for season 2022 already – traders are invited to submit applications

The traditional Vilnius Christmas Town, without which the programme “Christmas in Vilnius” could not be imagined, announces an open invitation to businesspersons for trade and calls to submit applications before 12 September inclusive.
The trade in Christmas town is planned from 26 November 2022 until 8 January 2023 in the Cathedral Square and from 26 November 2022 until 1 January 2023 in the square of Vincas Kudirka and Odminių square.
“The tourists are allured to come to Vilnius that has been recognized as one of the most interesting Christmas destinations in Europe not only by their wish to see the legendary Christmas tree of the capital that has been astonishing the world by its impressive image every year. The traditional Vilnius Christmas Town has been also creating a special mood in the city plazas and squares. We hope that the coming anniversary of Vilnius City will also be manifested in exclusive assortment of gifts and delicacies offered in the Christmas Town and fulfilment of Christmas wishes even of the most particular visitors,” – says Paulius Jurgutis, Director of Vilnius Culture Centre that is organizing the programme “Christmas in Vilnius”.
As every year, in order to safeguard variety and originality of trade in the Christmas Town, its compliance with the style of the holiday season, and to meet the visitors’ expectations, the traders who can offer qualitative, original, exclusive products, goods and/or services are called to submit applications before 12 September inclusive.

The special selection commission reserves the right to decide and select the traders, who meet the concept of winter holiday trade, in their opinion.
The applications to participate in the Christmas Town should be filled in electronically on website kaledossostineje.lt before 12 September inclusive (www.kaledossostineje.lt/paraiska/)
