Mid-April 2016, Netherlands Embassies all over Europe are taking part in organising the European Cycling Day Festival. The festival underlines the importance of cycling promotion during the Netherlands EU Presidency in the first half of 2016. Also in Vilnius, the Netherlands Embassy, in co-operation with Vilnius Municipality, the Ministry of Transport, the Dutch Cycling Embassy, and JCDecaux, organises festival activities:
